Hey there! Welcome to my blog. It is an exciting time in my life right now as the Lord is allowing me to serve Him in so many areas! As many of you know I'm in Chicago studying at Moody Bible Institute. I had wanted to get this blog up and going a while ago so that many of you back home could hear about what God's doing here! Let me tell you there are many great stories to tell! God is so good! Thank you so much for all of your prayers! I've heard from Mom and Dad that many of you are keeping me in your prayers, thanks!

The reason I finally started the blog today was because I have an amazing opportunity that I wanted to share with all of you! I am going to LONDON!

Many of you are probably wondering how this came about. Well it all started back in September. I had been wanting to go on a mission trip and as I began praying about where the Lord would use me the Middle East began heavily weighing upon my heart. I even began researching into a possible opportunity. The more I learned about this opportunity and the Muslim culture the more the Lord began really giving me a heart for these people. Back home I began making relationships with Muslims and started reaching out to them. As I learned of my acceptance to Moody and made my way to Chicago the opportunities to reach out to these people multiplied. Since being here the Lord has allowed me to share His love and build relationships within the Muslim community. It is so exciting to see this developing! As I found out more about the mission trip to the Middle East and the organization I really didn't have a peace about it. I decided to stop and pray about it. I also called Mom and Dad and just talked with them about how I really wanted to go on a mission trip this summer but didn't feel like this one was it. So I asked them if they could ask their friends with e3 ministries about trips specifically working with Muslims.

Well the answer came. It came within 24 hours ago. I got the email last night about the opportunity in London. In August, during the Olympics,  I will be going with e3 partnering with local churches in Western London to put on a Community Festival in the park. Through evangelism, music, food, sports, huge screens displaying the games, and VBS the team will be reaching out to these people sharing the Gospel with them. In this area of London the people are very diverse and many in fact are Arab. Although this is a bit different than going to the Middle East the Lord really just opened up this door. I am in complete peace with this and know this is where God wants me to go. Through this trip I'm sure God will be glorified and have even bigger plans waiting for me.

So friends I ask that you continue praying for me! I am so excited for this amazing opportunity. I ask that you also pray for the ministry that is just outside my door here in Chicago.
