London at a glimpse
This is a beautiful city but hearts are hurting, souls are yearning, searching for something more. He is what they are looking for! Please keep praying for those we will meet. Pray that even now there hearts
will be softened to hearing the truth.
"Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Eph 2:9-11)
Much love

Getting there...
One thing I discovered recently is that the best
conversations happen when you reunite with someone you’re deeply connected with
after months of separation. Upon returning home from school for the summer I
have been reunited with my family and dear friends. It’s wonderful to share
with each other face to face about all that is happening! I can only imagine
how it will be one day when we stand face to face with Jesus. How glorious and
wonderful that will be! We can talk to Him whenever through prayer just like
being able to call up your best friend but there something about being in the
same presence of one another that makes your relationship a million times
better! As I’ve been catching up with everyone many new things have been taking
place. I also wanted to share that news with all of you.
Our deadline of May 1st came. And we
did not meet all of our required
funds. But praise the Lord WE HAVE MORE TIME! Our director contacted us to
inform us that we have until June 1st
to collect the rest of our funds needed for our missions trip to London. As of
now we are 35% short of that goal. This is awesome! We are confident knowing
the Lord will provide! If 80 people give only $25 each we will reach are exact
amount! It is NOT too late to mail in donations! : )
It has been great coming home but it has been a
whirlwind since I’ve returned! Jilynne and I are both hard at work saving up
all our pennies! (we would happy to do more work for donations too!) As we’ve
had a moment to actually reflect and talk about all that God is doing we were remembering
back to when this all began! God has been truly transforming both of our lives
for His glory!
As we swung on the sings in the park feeling the
rushing wind pass by us, smiling and giggling being silly, we discussed how
remarkable His plans for us are. Although we still can’t see the future this whole experience has helped us to rely and stand firm in His plans
knowing that He holds them in His hands!
I was reminded of this verse from Eph 2:10, “For
we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
We are so excited for all that is to come!
Continue steadfast in prayer with us! And again, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

"Without knowing what the heck we're doing"
Most of us can probably remember doing some crazy
unexplainable things with our best friend. You know, the inside jokes that
happen, the late night extravaganzas, down time that turns into a wonderful
adventure, and countless other outrageous activities. We all have that one
special friend that knows and understands more about us than we ourselves know.
The one that completes our thoughts and can read our minds. Jilynne and I are
like this.
We became friends in sixth grade and have been nearly inseparable
since. I wont go in to all the stories that we’ve shared together but we tried
to make a list (as seen in picture below) but even that fails to capture our
experiences. Most are of us being silly and having fun.
But there is also the serious side to a relationship. The
side that feels more like family. A time to laugh, cry, and just experience
life with each other. In this side too
there is the time of accountability and growth. Jilynne and I are like sisters.
We share everything together and that includes our walk with the Lord.
Through high school and now into college we have shared the
trials and hardships of life together. I am so blessed to have her as a godly
friend in my life. We have challenged each other to grow more and more in love
with our Savior each day. Encouraging each other to seek and trust in His
perfect ways.
Another aspect of friendship is doing outrages things
because the other mentions it. Friends try new things together, and have great
influence over one another. What I am referring to with this is the day that
Jilynne and I started talking about going on our mission’s trip. It sounded
crazy! It seemed impossible! And it was, for us to do alone.
Together we could have came up with a plan but knowing us it
would have failed. But see we have a common friend that loves us more than we
could ever imagine. Through Christ alone we were able to find a path for our
calling to go overseas. He perfectly guided us in this direction. Without Him
it is impossible.
As the time is drawing nearer for our trip and moneys are
due, we were talking about all God has done for us. From the beginning of our
friendship He knew that we would be going to London together. He gave us this
passion for the lost world. It has been such a privilege to be able to share
this journey with each other. In the picture at the top, the words, “without
knowing what the heck we’re doing” have kind of become our “friendships theme.”
Through life we never know what the heck we’re doing but you
know what, God does! It ends up being the greatest adventure of them all!
Better than you could ever imagine.
Jilynne and I are so excited for this opportunity and are in
awe of everything happening. We just
want to say thanks again. Thanks for joining the journey with us.
Ps. Reminder funds are due May 1st
Pps. Donations can still be mailed to address @info
Ppps: Thanks : )
